1988-1989: Research Fellowship for Young Scientists by Japan Society for

1. Robot manipulator:

Optimum trajectory planning for robot manipulators

2. Mobile robot:

Motion planning of car-like robot,

Sensor based navigation and control for intelligent mobile robot,

Map building and motion control for cleaner robot for house use

3. Wire suspended mechanism:

Control of gantry cranes and container crane,

Control of wire suspended mechanism using multiple wires

4. Service robotics:

Glass cleaner robot, Inspection robot inside the ceiling

5. Helth care robotics:

Walking assist suite,

Man-machine interface for disabilities
